The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed concerning the higher number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The provider level created for intervention activities a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all SRD people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to enable the servicing of all prospects and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
